The Super Late Update!

Yikes! Has it really been a month since my last post? Oh my! So I’ll start by saying that I’ve been busy, sort of with other projects and also with related projects.

At the end of April I attended the Calgary Comics and Entertainment Expo. Which was fantastic! I had a table there and was handing out bookmarks  to promote Railroad Rising. I had a really great time! (I will write up a report on the convention on my other blog, along with pictures)

Then, the weekend after that was the Creative Ink Festival here in Vancouver. It was a fantastic event for writers, artists, publishers, editors and of course, readers!  There were readings and workshops, along with a dealers room where you could get your hands on a wide variety of authors. I highly recommend the event to everyone!

By the end of the event on Sunday, I had come out with a new plan. Because I have not actually written a full length novel before, I am embarking on trying to write 10 short novels before I show my editor Ryn’s Turn. I will talk more about this in my next post. Until then, read Railroad Rising, and if you have already done so, give it a review!

Thanks!

Looking for a Great Book to Read? Look No Further!

To speak of Ardan the Grim is to speak of many things. One must tell of how he was the last in a line of men who had stood for far Tharid. A line descended from Ardan the Fair, who left Asbaln that there should be no quarrels with his brother, Randell of Avantir. Both of them being sons of the famous Guardian of the Sword of Avantir, Rorick. Wyrta the seer spoke to him in these words: "In the twentieth year, on spring's first day, seek a path to the West away. Go to the land of the Silver Hair, for thy fate does await thee there." Years after Rorick and Conel rode forth to free the land of Asbaln from the barbaric tribes, comes one man who will ride forth to save the kingdom and he will wear... The Crystal Crown.
