Today would have been my dad’s 76th birthday. The picture above is one of my favourite pictures of my dad. He had created a cardboard army and he set them up so that he could recreate battle scenes. I wanted to reflect on him today, but honestly, I reflect on him everyday as I edit his stories and work on my own.

Yeah, April is a tragicomic month for us. JPW died on the 9th; memorial on the 22nd, but also JPW’s birthday and his sister’s birthday on the 29tl as I recall.
